We found a good home for Buka and his new family came to collect him today. We wish him a very happy life in his new home.

Bassa has safely delivered her puppies. The first pup was born just after midnight on 8 October 2013 and by the morning, Bassa was the proud mom of 7 plump and healthy puppies.

We found a mate for Bassa in the summer and she is expecting puppies as early as next week.
This magnificent Caucasian Shepherd dog is the father of Bassa’s puppies.

I was 18 months old this week. It’s hard to imagine that I was once the size of my kitten, Barnaby.
Hmm, I wonder if he will be my size in 18 months time – or will he always be little, like my little person?
Barnaby has discovered my pink pig. I used to sleep on it as a pup. It was pinker then. Tall person put it on the balcony after I grew too big to lie on it and it has faded in the sun. I don’t think Barnaby minds.
I am pleased he likes my (less) pink pig.
I was followed today and not in a blogging way!
I walked down to the supermarket with the tall person and De and my butcher gave me a big bag of bones.
Word (and the scent of bones) soon got round the neighborhood and by the time we were half way home we had picked up a stalker.
He followed us all the way to our street.
He was a cute pup and I liked his non-aggressive persistence. I looked at tall person and he smiled and nodded and reached into my bag of bones and gave one to the pup.

When I was a puppy I slept a lot. I got so sleepy and could not keep my eyes open. Chewing things and playing with my toys was so exhausting. I am bigger now (8 months) but I still like a nap, especially when it is hot outside.
