Apprehensive pup stalked by strange balls of light

On my walk through the neighborhood today I saw this.

Yes. I had stumbled upon the enigmatic phenomenon known as ball lightning, in which strange globes of energy mystify, wander and even “attack” living things. By the look on this pup’s face he was clearly unnerved by this unwelcome attention.

I pointed it out to the tall person and asked if there was anything we could do to rescue the pup from this unexplained atmospheric electrical phenomenon. He smiled and told me that it was just sunlight and not the rare and little known kind of lightning that has the form of a moving globe of light.

Hmm. I don’t think the dog is convinced.

On my walk through the kitchen today I saw this unusual sight.

I asked the tall person what is was and he smiled and told me that one of my puppies had crawled into the vegetable rack and fallen asleep.

On my walk through the house today I saw this.

Yes, the tall person was practicing weightlifting with two of my puppies. He told me that tomorrow he will try to lift three.

Hmm. I carried six until very recently.

It’s my Birthday!

Happy 3rd Birthday Bassa!

I have never understood how you can wake up one day and be a whole year older.

A special delivery!

Bassa has safely delivered her puppies. The first pup was born just after midnight on 8 October 2013 and by the morning, Bassa was the proud mom of 7 plump and healthy puppies.
