Tbilisi to be re-named in 2 years, 3 months, 2 weeks and 4 days

I asked the tall person how old I am today and he told me I am 2 years, 3 months, 2 weeks and 4 days old.

Who would have believed that this tiny pup……….

……..would become this huge pup in such a short time?

Hmm. At this rate of expansion I will be as big as Tbilisi in another 2 years, 3 months, 2 weeks and 4 days.

I will inform the city planners. Based on my growth prediction, in 2 years, 3 months, 2 weeks and 4 days there will only be room enough in Tbilisi for me, the tall person, De, the little person, Mari and my cat Barnaby. Because of this I suggest the city planners begin preparations to re-name Tbilisi. I suggest Bassaville.

Bassa is 18 months old!

I was 18 months old this week. It’s hard to imagine that I was once the size of my kitten, Barnaby.

Hmm, I wonder if he will be my size in 18 months time – or will he always be little, like my little person?

The return of the (less) pink pig

Barnaby has discovered my pink pig. I used to sleep on it as a pup. It was pinker then. Tall person put it on the balcony after I grew too big to lie on it and it has faded in the sun. I don’t think Barnaby minds.

I am pleased he likes my (less) pink pig.

How Time Flies!

I am 8 months old and can’t believe how time flies. It only seems like yesterday that I was much smaller than the small person and had to be carried down steps. Now look at me!

Look out tall person soon I will be taller than you and you will be called ‘less tall person’.

Pink Pig

When I was young my best friend was a pink pig. I liked him very much and when he went to sleep I hugged him and hugged him and hugged him.

I like chewing everything

I like chewing bones. In fact, I like chewing everything – books, toys (especially cars), pens, brushes, memory sticks, slippers……my menu is endless!!! I discovered I can crack walnuts with my teeth. I don’t eat the nuts – I just love the sound they make when I crunch them.

I like finding new things to chew. New things are usually very easy to find. The people in the house are not very good at hiding things and I am so much bigger now that I can reach almost anything.

The people in the house say that I have eaten the garden – I must confess it looks very different now and I do admit  I am a bit of an amateur gardner. I do dig a lot of holes (which the people in the house keep filling in) but did I really eat all of the bushes and trees and vine? I think I did.

 

I’m dreaming of snow!!

It is so hot in Tbilisi today. Too hot to chase the birds so I’m lying on the cool bathroom floor, dreaming of the first time I saw snow!!

 

I have always liked a nap

When I was a puppy I slept a lot. I got so sleepy and could not keep my eyes open. Chewing things and playing with my toys was so exhausting. I am bigger now (8 months) but I still like a nap, especially when it is hot outside.
