The sounds of the forest

On my walk in the forest today I found this.

I pointed it out to the tall person and suggested that this was where all the sounds of the forest came from.

He smiled and told me that it was a 33⅓ rpm microgroove vinyl record that operates as an analog sound storage medium.

Hmm. If there was no one in the forest to hear it would it still make a sound?

  1. Somebody is always in the forest, so the record can play and play and play and the sounds will continue. Wouldn’t it be weird if the forest were silent?? Yikes.

    Love and licks,

  2. Good question sweet Bassa but we figure without something to play it there would be no sound. Hugs and nose kisses

  3. A boooootiful but sad love story was on this LP, Bassa, directed by one of my favorite conductors! But how could Romeo and Juliet have gone astray in a forest?
