On my walk through the yard today I saw this.
Yes, a dragon has made its home in my yard. I pointed it out to the tall person who told me that dragons are legendary creatures, typically with serpentine or reptilian traits, that feature in the myths of many cultures.
Hmm. Myth busted!
On my walk through the neighborhood today I saw two angry brides in a window.
I asked the tall person why the brides looked so angry and he smiled and told me that perhaps they are arguing about whose dress is better.
Calm down ladies. It appears that you are unaware that stress can cause Alopecia areata, stopping hair growth and making hair fall out.
I hope it grows back before the big day!
On my walk through the neighborhood today I saw this big medicine.
I pointed it out to the tall person and he told me that Big Medicine is an hour-long reality television show that examines the effects of bariatric surgery, both physical and emotional, on obese patients.
Hmm. I suppose you would have to be big to swallow those.
On my walk through the neighborhood today I noticed this gargoyle in a tree.
I pointed it out to the tall person and he told me that a gargoyle is a carved stone grotesque, often made of granite, with a spout designed to convey water from a roof and away from the side of a building thereby preventing rainwater from running down walls.
Hmm. I suppose it was only a matter of time before trees discovered the benefits of gargoyles.
On my walk through the yard this evening I looked up and saw these beautiful clouds.
I pointed it out to the tall person and he said that it reminded him of a weather-lore rhyme: Red sky at night; shepherds delight, red sky in the morning; shepherds warning.
Hmm. The rhyme must be true. I am a Caucasian Shepherd and I am delighted.
Bassa the dog, Barnaby the cat and Bambi the kitten wish their American friends a very happy Independence Day celebration!
Happy 4th July!
