On my walk through the kitchen today I saw this.
At first, I thought it was this………………..
………the little person squeezes this when he wants ketchup on his fries.
I pointed it out to the tall person and he smiled and said that perhaps the tomato was an example of Anti-mimesis – a philosophical position that holds the direct opposite of Aristotelian mimesis, whose most notable proponent was Oscar Wilde, who opined in his 1889 essay The Decay of Lying that “Life imitates Art far more than Art imitates Life”.
Hmm. I had better warn the little person or he will get a very messy surprise the next time he has fries!
Maybe that tomato aspires to greater heights!
I think you are right Rumpy. I have never seen a tomato like that before 🙂
OMGoodness, B. The little person would DEFINITELY get a not-so-fun surprise from that freaky tomato if he squeezes it. Just in case, steer clear of the kitchen for a while….
Love and licks,
Cupcake
Yes!!!! 🙂
With such a well trained eye for all things absurd, you always put a smile on my face.
I am very pleased to hear that 🙂
Maybe it’s a new way to get tomato juice.
My word, you are definitely the most philosophical dog I’ve yet to meet Bassa.
Hahaha Bassa you are so clever!
How coool! Ginger however thinks it is giving the finger… sigh…. dad is shaking his head again….
