No need for words
On my walk through the neighborhood this morning I saw this.
Minutes later, I found this.
Yes, I know it’s unbelievably shocking but it’s obvious that this poor turtle had been completely flattened by the mini steamroller.
It seems that a new macabre ‘sport’ is being practiced in my neighborhood.
I suppose that using a slow moving steamroller to hunt these poor laggard creatures is intended to even the odds.
I pointed it out to the tall person and he smiled and said it was an old tree stump.
Hmm, I’m nearly two years old tall person – you can’t keep shielding me from the harsh realities of life.
On my walk through the neighborhood today I saw an interesting advert promoting a new fashion accessory.
It appears that the craze for tattoos has reached a new level (just under the nose).
Hmm, I’m not sure about this.
I pointed it out to the tall person and he smiled and told me that it is not an advert for a mustache tattoo. He explained that a naughty person had drawn the mustache on the advert.
Phew, that’s a relief! I think ladies look very pretty without mustaches.
As we waited to cross a road today I noticed that our local bus stop has learned a new language.
In addition to displaying bus routes and times in Georgian it now also displays them in English.
I think that it is wonderful that Tbilisi is doing everything it can to prevent the tall person getting lost when he goes out without me!
Tall person, De and the little person recently visited the Botanical Garden. They didn’t go in by the main entrance, instead they used the newly built steps that lead down from the aerial tramway terminus at Narikala.
This is what they found at the bottom of the steps.
It was okay for the little person to walk under. However, De had to bow her head and the tall person had to bend double to pass under it.
Tall person was surprised that this tree branch was allowed to block the steps in this way but thought that as it is a botanical garden the workers had been instructed not to damage any of the plants when they were building the steps.
Personally, I am very pleased that this rare limbo tree has been saved for everyone to enjoy!
It’s been quite a week for alien spotting in my neighborhood. Several days ago I saw a small gold suited visually impaired laptop repair extraterrestrial and yesterday I found a flying saucer in Tbilisi!
Finally, we have proof of alien beings!
I pointed out the flying saucer to the tall person and he smiled and told me that it is the new Emergency Control Center. The center coordinates fire, rescue, medical emergency and patrolling services.
Ah, thank you tall person. I think it is very nice of the extraterrestrials to provide that service from their flying saucer.
