Tall person returned from London late last night.
Barnaby and me waited up for him and were so happy to see him. We asked him about his trip to England and he said that he was a little tired and would tell us all about it in the morning.
He did say that he was very impressed with the honor guard that met him at London airport.
Wow, tall person must be very important to receive a ceremonial welcome.
You may remember that I had a friend called Mr. ‘Crazy’ Parrot. I never knew his real name because he very quickly became known as Mr. ‘Crazy’ Parrot. Sadly, he passed away last year.
Tall person returns home later this evening and I think a moment remembering my crazy friend is a fitting way to end this trip down memory lane. I hope you have enjoyed it as much as me and Barnaby: https://bassasblog.wordpress.com/2011/08/21/he-let-out-a-loud-squawk-and-turned-his-back-on-me/
I have often been mistaken for an Old English Sheep Dog………

One day last Summer I decided to bring part of the garden into the toy room.
My plan was not supported: https://bassasblog.wordpress.com/2011/08/18/i-cant-be-in-two-places-at-once/
What would you do if someone put shrubs in your favorite sleeping place?
Although I don’t like it when people I love go away for a while I do like the anticipation of waiting for someone to return.
Last year, the little person went on vacation to his grandparent’s village and after a while………….he came home: https://bassasblog.wordpress.com/2011/08/15/news-flash/
The little person has a huge collection of cars. I played with them when he was on vacation last Summer.
I ‘customized’ two of the cars but the tall person thought it would be better not to tell the little person: https://bassasblog.wordpress.com/2011/08/15/the-little-person-dog-pizza-and-me/
Back in August I asked myself if cats catch flies. I didn’t know the answer then but I do now. My kitten, Barnaby is an absolutely phenomenal fly catcher.
The only problem is that he eats them!: https://bassasblog.wordpress.com/2011/08/14/any-enemy-of-a-fly-is-a-friend-of-mine/
Although I now have to share my sofa with a small hairy thing that takes up an inordinate amount of space (Barnaby) there was a time when my sofa was all mine.
Wonderful memories of me and my sofa: https://bassasblog.wordpress.com/2011/08/14/buy-a-wetsuit-tall-person-and-join-us/
