Which came first?

Yesterday the tall person and I were discussing causality dilemmas. He asked me “which came first, the chicken or the egg?” He said that this question evokes questions of how life and the universe began.

I thought about it for a while and suggested to the tall person that the question could be reformulated as: “Which came first, X that can’t come without Y, or Y that can’t come without X?”

He nodded in agreement.

On our walk today we found a little shop that had a tree in the middle of it.

Hmm, another example of a causality dilemma.

Which came first, the shop or the tree?

  1. Beautiful fresh fruit, Bassa. I must pose own question does the tree draw more people to this fruit stand? Maybe the tree was planted for that reason/or the shop set up there because the tree drew more customers?? 😉

  2. Hi Bassa! I don’t know the answer to the question but I know you’ve made the world a little brighter with this wonderful pic 🙂 The color of the fruit is so pretty against the neutrals of the street and the walls. I might use this for my computer desktop picture! Thanks again for sharing Tbilisi with all of us.

A belated Merry Christmas, and best wishes for the New Year! I’ve enjoyed seeing all your pictures for the holidays, too (loved the cakes for your New Year’s celebration!). Blessings to you and your family 🙂

Trevor feels the tree needs watering… ahem… and Smoke.. he just thinks those fruits look tasty! LOL….. A wonderful post and we love the picture!

    God Bless You!
