When will you be famous?

Andy Warhol said in 1968 that “In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes.”

That was said over 40 years ago so perhaps the future is now.

I mentioned this to the tall person and he told me that the world’s population (human) has just reached 7 billion and according to WikiAnswers only 7,568,890 of them are famous.

Hmm, that still leaves a lot of people waiting to be famous.

It might be a long wait.

The tall person suggested that perhaps not everyone was meant to be famous. If they were there would need to be a new category such as ‘more famous’.

Hmm, you make a good point tall person but perhaps Andy Warhol’s prediction is not as far-fetched as it sounds, particularly as a blog entry or video posted on the Internet can make someone instantly famous.

So, my advice to the 6,992,431,110 people who are not yet famous (and want to be) is to keep blogging – you may ‘go viral’! Good luck soon to be famous people!

P.S. Thanks to my Facebook friends Alfie Barron and Buster Boyd for the fabulous photos. I feel famous already!!
