Good morning/afternoon/evening/night. Thank you for tuning into the BBC News (Bassa’s Blogging Channel).
This is your good news correspondent, Bassa, reporting from Tbilisi in the Republic of Georgia.
Our top story is from one of my favorite blogs, Collies of the Meadow.
I know many of you follow the adventures of Chuck and his Collies at the Meadow but some may not have seen this wonderful post about Christmas.
Narrated by Trevor, the Alpha Male at the Meadow, this story is a heart warming celebration of Christmas.
Trevor tells us that before he came to live with Chuck he spent the winters in a kennel inside a barn. Now he is warm and fed and loved.

That’s all folks. Remember, good news makes you feel good. Be part of Bassa’s good news!
Awww 🙂
Thank you for sharing this blog post. I will go check it out. : )
Bassa, this is a wonderful story for BBC. I had no idea that Trevor used to live in a barn – I’m so glad he found Chuck and the other Collies!
I never knew that either Laurie.
Good story choice, Bassa!
Trevor says thank you Bassa! 🙂 Just a FYI for everyone, Trevor spent the first five years of his life in a kennel for he was supposed to be a show dog. Family illness stopped his show ring career. He is beautiful enough and hits all the standards to be a Champion. But, that means nothing to me for he is the Champion who saved me after my Niamh died.
A wonderful friend of mine took him in since the kennel was closing up and if the collies did not get a home they were scheduled to be put to sleep. My friend took Trevor and his sister , our Hallie and their two brothers in and she contacted our friends and us and we took in Trevor and Hallie and they took the brothers. 🙂
Our friend who saved them is a wonderful woman who loves animals and for a long time her family of collies and ours worked together in limited breeding to keep this bloodline here. Eventually, she moved into another breed and we took in her collies into the Meadow. 🙂 We never planned on this many collies but we could give them a happy home where they would be loved till the end. So, that is how Trevor and Hallie and others came here. I hug that old woolly bear Trevor and at times I get tears in my eyes when I think of him in that barn. He deserved so much better and now he has it till the end of his life. 🙂
Thank you for including us in the BBC. Just a word to everyone, cherish every moment you have with your furry family members for they are gone in the blink of an eye….. live each moment with them as if it were the last for when they do pass, you will have no regrets!
God Bless You ALL and especially Bassa and her family!
Peace be with you all,
Chuck and the rowdy collies! 🙂
Thank you Chuck and the rowdy Collies 🙂
Bassa what a wonderful story!
This is a great story and I also like the additional info that Chuck added in his comment here.
