When the tall person was in the centre of Tbilisi recently he saw workers fixing a giant bicycle to the pavement in Rose Revolution Square. He said it was huge.
Phew! You were lucky that the giant rider was not there tall person!
The bicycle was unusual because it had two handlebars and two seats. Hmm, does that mean that the giant can ride in both directions?
The tall person asked the workers what the bicycle represented and they told him that it is intended to remind people about the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
The tall person thinks it could also represent the dilemma of direction that we all feel sometimes.
He said it is a beautiful piece of modern art.
Wow, the bicycle is very interesting! I think what the worker and your tall person said are both make sense and it’s also like ‘objet d’art’ ! 🙂
Hmmm, I would go with your tall person’s interpretation. How does a bicycle with opposing ends represent a healthy lifestyle?!
You find the most unique little scenes to showcase, Bassa! Thanks for sharing. I truly have a feel for your city in Georgia.
I am very pleased you liked the post Andrea.
Is there any office around?
Who is the artist? he or she has a very special kind of humour …
I wonder how long it will take until somebody starts fixing love locks there.
Tall person doesn’t know the artist but will try to find out.
That’s a odd looking bicycle. 😮
It certainly is Dianda!
If two people were trying to ride in opposite directions, they would definitely get a good workout. I think I’d rather just run around chasing squirrels for exercise.
A squirrel workout sounds fun!!!
I think it would take someone with very long legs to ride that.
Yes Bongo, there must be a giant living in Tbilisi! 🙂
Cool Pictures! I think it sure does represent the dilemnas we face in life. Trevor says he would like to visit it and give it his special approval…. ahem…. 🙂
I know exactly what Trevor means! I am sure it will receive many ‘special approvals’ 🙂
I love it! Cycling gives me a natural rush. Would it be possible to see a shot without the brackets used for people to climb (if you pass the area again in the future perhaps)? Thank you for sharing this. It made my morning. =)
The bracket is there for the workmen. I think it will be taken away when they have finished. I will ask the tall person to take more pictures 🙂
Well, sweet Bassa we are glad there is something that bicycle represents because we sure don’t think two people could ride it. Very interesting bicycle. Hugs and nose kisses
If two people were on it they would be facing each other and wouldn’t be able to see where they were going! 🙂
Ha! You fooled our Mom. She thought this was going to be about a bicycle repair shop. I like the tall man’s interpretation! x Berner Girls
I think I need lessons in how to appreciate modern art….

I don’t think lessons would help Nancy, art is always subjective.
