A bicycle made for two?

When the tall person was in the centre of Tbilisi recently he saw workers fixing a giant bicycle to the pavement in Rose Revolution Square. He said it was huge.

Phew! You were lucky that the giant rider was not there tall person!

The bicycle was unusual because it had two handlebars and two seats. Hmm, does that mean that the giant can ride in both directions?

The tall person asked the workers what the bicycle represented and they told him that it is intended to remind people about the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

The tall person thinks it could also represent the dilemma of direction that we all feel sometimes.

He said it is a beautiful piece of modern art.

  1. Wow, the bicycle is very interesting! I think what the worker and your tall person said are both make sense and it’s also like ‘objet d’art’ ! 🙂

  2. Hmmm, I would go with your tall person’s interpretation. How does a bicycle with opposing ends represent a healthy lifestyle?!

You find the most unique little scenes to showcase, Bassa! Thanks for sharing. I truly have a feel for your city in Georgia.

  3. Is there any office around?
Who is the artist? he or she has a very special kind of humour …
I wonder how long it will take until somebody starts fixing love locks there.

  4. If two people were trying to ride in opposite directions, they would definitely get a good workout. I think I’d rather just run around chasing squirrels for exercise.

  5. I love it! Cycling gives me a natural rush. Would it be possible to see a shot without the brackets used for people to climb (if you pass the area again in the future perhaps)? Thank you for sharing this. It made my morning. =)

  6. Well, sweet Bassa we are glad there is something that bicycle represents because we sure don’t think two people could ride it. Very interesting bicycle. Hugs and nose kisses
