Things are improving. At bedtime, the cover on my bed had been turned down and there was a dog treat on the pillow. If this type of service continues I will consider upgrading this establishment from a 2 star to a 3 star.

P.S. I think I’ll test them out in the middle of the night and ask for room service.
After my complaint about the service at breakfast this morning I am sorry to report that it has not improved. I was enjoying a bone on my sofa when it fell on the floor. De was nearby and completely ignored my cries for assistance. She said she was ‘busy’. I had to get down from the sofa and pick it up myself. Unbelievable!
I went to bed early last night but before I did I ordered a 6.00 a.m. wake up call and an early breakfast. Can you imagine my surprise when I woke up at 6.30 a.m. with no wake up call and no breakfast waiting for me. I immediately went to see the staff and found them still asleep. Can you believe that? I couldn’t. I woke them both up and complained first to the manager (the tall person) for forgetting my wake up call and then to the head chef (De) for the absence of breakfast. The tall person told me to ‘fill out a complaint form’ and went back to sleep. Fortunately, De’s customer service skills were much better and she got up and gave me a yoghurt.
I’m still waiting for an apology and a complaint form.
