I love the smell of rain. It wakes up the earth and trees and plants and unlocks a thousand new scents. I mentioned this to the tall person and he said, ‘yes, you do smell when you are wet’.
I was not expecting this! Apparently there was some birthday cake left and De ‘offered’ to finish it off. Of course, I offered to help her.
I may have misinterpreted her body language but De does not look very happy sharing her cake. Oh well, cake is cake!
P.S. I was thinking of Lovely Lynlee when I was munching cake. Lovely Lynlee loves cake as much as I do.
I have been staring at the little person’s slipper for a long time. I think he left it there to deliberately torment me! Or, it could be a trap and the little person will leap out of hiding if I try to take it. I know, I will pretend to be asleep. The little person has a low boredom threshold and will soon give up and then, little slipper, you will be mine!
A big storm here has turned the roads into rivers. De bravely went down to the water’s edge to get some action photos for my blog. I put my webbed paws on standby in case she fell in and was swept away but don’t worry – she was okay.
I felt sorry for the person on a little motorcycle. I don’t think it was amphibious.
P.S. We all got very wet.
The tall person has given me cake but told me that because I am a messy eater I must eat it from my bowl. This is completely unfair and another example of the two puppies being treated differently. Has he ever noticed the little person eat? Now that’s messy!
Mmm, the cake is delicious! Happy birthday tall person, can I please have more cake?
